Kevin is a wealth manager at Ascendor Wealth, PLLC and a partner at the law firm of Graves May, PLLC. He works primarily in the Fuquay-Varina office in the areas of tax planning, retirement planning and estate planning. He and his wife, Alicia, met in Raleigh and married in 2006. When not working they both enjoy spending time with their two daughters, Andelyn and Chappell. He is an active member of Mid-Way Baptist Church and is involved in his daughters’ school, Wake Christian Academy. The May family loves the beach and enjoys traveling together during the summer and holiday seasons.

Kevin earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Campbell University and received his Juris Doctorate from Campbell University School of Law. He was part of a moot court competition team and earned the David Teddy Student Leadership Award for the class of 2010. During his professional career, he served as the Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association Tax Section and has served in multiple roles on the Tax Section Council. 

Kevin applies both his business training and his legal know-how to find solutions for his clients’ widely varying financial concerns. This knowledge base helps Kevin maximize tax savings while planning for the client’s future. He values long-term planning and ensuring that the clients do not forget the two unavoidable things - death and taxes.
